Davis, TX to work for one of the largest dry goods businesses in the area.<\/li>\n<li>Dr. CB McKinnon takes over Landrum\u2019s Drug Store.<\/li>\n<li>JT &amp; Grady Gilbert were here Monday.<\/li>\n<li>George Ward left Sunday night for business in Georgia.<\/li>\n<li>Probation Officer, FM Neel \u201cwishes any one who may know of any cases that would come under the jurisdiction of his office to notify him at Union\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Work on the well for the ice house progresses well.<\/li>\n<li>AF Prior, long time night operator, was back visiting friends here.<\/li>\n<li>Mrs. AH Sherman, of Ashtabule, Ohio, is visiting her friend Mrs. Lason and attending Chautauqua.<\/li>\n<li>REL McCaskill &amp; Geo. Ward have purchased a mill at Wausau in Washington County; it will be named for McCaskill.<\/li>\n<li>The Dandy Dixie Minstrels, here Tuesday was managed by JR Anderson who had a merry-go-round here 12 years ago.<\/li>\n<li>M\/M EH Miller of Freeport celebrate their 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary and many from here will attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A fourteen year-old cigarette sucker with a pistol in his pocket is a good subject for home missionary work, and a sized birch rod will prove more effective than sermons and Scripture reading.<\/li>\n<li>All members of Co.
