{"id":1661,"date":"2012-07-26T13:53:57","date_gmt":"2012-07-26T19:53:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/waltoncountyheritage.org\/wp\/?p=1661"},"modified":"2012-07-26T13:53:57","modified_gmt":"2012-07-26T19:53:57","slug":"the-defuniak-herald-july-1925-obituaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/waltonpast2present.com\/wcgs\/2012\/07\/the-defuniak-herald-july-1925-obituaries\/","title":{"rendered":"The DeFuniak Herald &#8211; July 1925 &#8211; Obituaries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>*1925 July 16 Mr &amp; Mrs Claud <strong>Lathinghouse\u2019s<\/strong> 8 months old daughter Dorothy died last Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The little one had been ill for some time and her death was not altogether unexpected.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*1925 July 30 Mr Ralph <strong>Bland\u2019s<\/strong> two children were drowned at Harbeson City.\u00a0 The boy, 10 yrs could<\/p>\n<p>swim some but went out to far and lost his balance. His mother went out after him and was<\/p>\n<p>drowning with her 17 month old in her arms.\u00a0 A man on the bank went to her aid and they<\/p>\n<p>saved the mother &amp; baby.
