1942 Mar 19 – The Passing of A W Dannelley<\/strong> at his home Sunday came unexpectedly.\u00a0 “Wash” as<\/p>\n

he was know was a salesman of unusual ability.\u00a0 A native of Pike Co, Al he came to DeFuniak<\/p>\n

when a young boy and has since made this his home.\u00a0 Survivors are his wife, the former<\/p>\n

Flowers Underwood<\/strong> and a large number of relatives.\u00a0 Funeral services on Monday and intern-<\/p>\n

ment in Magnolia Cemetery.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mr Louis V Laird<\/strong> died at his home at Glendale, Sunday March 16 after a short illness.\u00a0 Mr<\/p>\n

Laird was a native of Walton county and was well known. Funeral services were conducted<\/p>\n

At Gum Creek church Monday and internment was at Gum Creek Cemetery.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The death of\u00a0 A C McSween<\/strong>, a former Walton Co resident occurred at his home in Gonzalez,<\/p>\n

Fla after a long illness. He was for years an employee of the L & N Railroad.\u00a0 Services were<\/p>\n

held Monday in Pensacola and internment was at St Johns cemetery. Survivors include a<\/p>\n

brother\u00a0 J C McSween<\/strong> and 3 sisters Mrs Nannie Gillis<\/strong> of DeFuniak, Mrs E V Crawford<\/strong> and<\/p>\n

Miss Jeanette McSween<\/strong> of Ponce de Leon.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

News of the death of Henry H Dreyer<\/strong>, a former resident of Defuniak has been received by<\/p>\n

W I Cawthon..\u00a0 A Card from Miss Ella Holowell<\/strong> stated that he had died suddenly several<\/p>\n

Days ago at Glendale Cal.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I P Wooten’s<\/strong> death occurred in Pensacola at the home of his daughter, last Thursday and the<\/p>\n

body was brought here for burial in Magnolia cemetery.\u00a0 He was a clerk in the Post Office<\/p>\n

for several years and his wife’s death occurred many years ago. There are two children sur-<\/p>\n

viving a daughter and a son who is in the U S Navy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mrs Amy McGee<\/strong> died at the home of her daughter Mrs J H Cook<\/strong> in Pensacola last week<\/p>\n

And burial was made at the old family cemetery at Westville, Fla. Survivors are son Arthur<\/p>\n

McGee and 2 daughters.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mr David McQuarrie<\/strong> passed away in St Petersburg, Fla place of business Thursday,<\/p>\n

March 19th<\/sup>. Services were held Saturday at Gainesville, Fl where many members of his<\/p>\n

Family reside.\u00a0 He was a former resident and married here to Miss Ella Buchanan<\/strong>, daughter<\/p>\n

Of the late Mr & Mrs R Buchanan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
