1944 Nov 16: \u00a0 Jesse<\/strong> Melvin<\/strong> Childers<\/strong>, the young son of Mr & Mrs J A Childers<\/strong> died at the family home<\/p>\n

Tuesday night Nov 7 after a brief illness of diphtheria. Services were Wednesday after-<\/p>\n

Noon at the home.\u00a0 The little daughter of the family is also quite ill with same disease.<\/p>\n

Mr \u00a0Maynard M Bannister <\/strong>died unexpected Monday morning at his home.\u00a0\u00a0 The Bannister<\/p>\n

Family came here from Florala, Ala many years ago.\u00a0 Services were held at family home, with<\/p>\n

interment at Magnolia.\u00a0 Surviving family include the widow and 2 daughters Mrs Lura<\/strong><\/p>\n

White<\/strong> and Miss Thelma<\/strong>\u00a0 Bannister, son Ray<\/strong> M Bannister and 2 gr sons Maynard<\/strong> & Fred<\/strong><\/p>\n

White<\/strong>, and the little son of Mr & Mrs Ray Bannister; sisters Mrs E M Lee<\/strong>, and Mrs O L<\/p>\n

Smith<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mrs Sherman<\/strong> Hutto<\/strong> was found dead last Monday with her head in a small spring of water,<\/p>\n

near her home.\u00a0 Mrs Hutto was a victim of epilepsy and it is presumed she had an attack<\/p>\n

and fell into the spring.<\/p>\n
