Mr Arthur<\/b> Slay<\/b> 87, died at his home Wednesday, a native of Bonifay, he had moved<\/p>\n
to Defuniak in 1946.\u00a0 Services were held Friday with interment in Magnolia.\u00a0 He is<\/p>\n
survived by his wife, Mrs Arthur Slay, 3 daughters, Mrs Inez Vice<\/b>, Mrs Abelene<\/p>\n
Simpler, & Mrs Nelle Jean Williamson<\/b>; 3 brothers W L, GT, & H B Slay, 3 sisters;<\/p>\n
Mrs Argie Price<\/b>, Mr W J Tew<\/b>, and Mrs Ottis Webb<\/b> and 9 grandchildren.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Miss Mary<\/b> Ernestine<\/b> Sowell<\/b> 82, died at local hospital on Sunday. A native of Washington<\/p>\n
Co. Miss Sowell resided in Bridge Creek community for the past 22 years. Services<\/p>\n
were conducted Monday from Sandy Creek Baptist church. She is survived by 4<\/p>\n
nephews; Harvey<\/b>, Avery<\/b>, Doyle<\/b> Murphy<\/b> and John<\/b> D Sowell<\/b>; 6 nieces Mrs Mary<\/p>\n
Young<\/b>, Mrs W W Clayton<\/b>, Mrs Henry Hawkins<\/b>, Mrs Ernestine Gross<\/b>, Mrs Marynell<\/p>\n
Andrews<\/b> & Mrs Myrabell Alford<\/b>.<\/p>\n
