Brown] 81, passed away Jun 17, at the residence of his son <b>John<\/b> <b>Alex<\/b> Brown in Freeport.&nbsp; He was a native and lifelong resident of Walton.&nbsp;Services were held on Sunday June 19 from graveside in Almarant Cemetery in Laurel Hill. He is survived by his wife, Mrs <b>Minnie<\/b> <b>Ola<\/b> Brown, 3 daughters Mrs Bell <b>Oliver<\/b>, Mrs Jimmie Lou <b>Adair<\/b> &amp; Miss <b>Flora<\/b> Brown; 4 sons, <b>John<\/b> <b>Alex<\/b>, <b>Edward<\/b> F, <b>Floyd<\/b> D and <b>Dan<\/b> <b>Henry<\/b> Brown; 3 brothers, R B, F T &amp; O H Brown; one sister Mrs S A <b>Dilley<\/b>, 16 grandchildren &amp; 6 gr grands. Services held Wednesday with burial in Hatcher Cemetery.\u00a0Mrs Mears is survived by her mother, <b>Maude<\/b> <b>Padgett<\/b> <b>Kent<\/b>, one brother, John B <b>Kent<\/b>, 3 sisters, Mrs Laverne <b>Kennion<\/b>, Mrs Lois <b>Hansford<\/b>, and Mrs Lola Caswell. She was native of Walton and resided in Gaskin.&nbsp;Services were held in Gaskin with burial in the family cemetery on the Pierce farm.&nbsp; Survivors are her husband, <b>Harley<\/b> <b>Von<\/b> <b>Pierce<\/b>, her mother Mrs <b>Strammer<\/b> <b>Johnson<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Rev William Franklin Brannon 49, <\/b>of<b> <\/b>Tucson<b> <\/b>Ariz<b> <\/b>died<b> <\/b>Saturday<b> <\/b>June<b> <\/b>18<b> <\/b>in<b> <\/b>Ariz hospital. A native of Ponce de Leon, he resided in Tucson for past 4 yrs.&nbsp;Services were held Friday with interment followed in New Ponce de Leon cemetery.&nbsp;Survived by his wife, Mrs <b>Erin<\/b> <b>Brannon<\/b>, 3 sons <b>Howard<\/b>, <b>Calvin<\/b> &amp; <b>Franklin<\/b>, 5 daughters, Mrs Mavis <b>Sturgull<\/b>, Misses Mary <b>Martha<\/b>, <b>Bricilla<\/b> &amp; <b>Elizabeth<\/b> <b>Elaine<\/b> Brannon; 3 brothers <b>Alfred<\/b>, <b>Oscar<\/b> &amp; <b>Aubrey<\/b> <b>Brannon<\/b>; 7 sisters, Mrs Ella <b>Hester<\/b>, Mrs Ola <b>Bearden<\/b>, Mrs Nettie <b>Grave<\/b>, Mrs Dove <b>Scalf<\/b>, Mrs Cecil <b>Thorpe<\/b>, Mrs Avis <b>Norris<\/b> &amp; Mrs Louis <b>Dyle<\/b>. Church with interment following in the church cemetery.&nbsp;She is survived by 4 sons; <b>Wilbern<\/b>, <b>Phillip<\/b>, <b>Eugene<\/b> &amp; <b>Hughey<\/b>; 6 daughters, Mrs Izona <b>Evans<\/b>, Mrs Temple <b>Hurst<\/b>, Mrs Lena <b>Chamberlain<\/b>, Mrs Ada <b>Ammons<\/b>, Mrs Lottie <b>Gomillion<\/b> and Mrs Esther <b>Hattaway<\/b>; one sister, Mrs Mary <b>Tarrance<\/b>, 61 grandchildren, 33 gr grands &amp; 8 gr gr grands.
