W L Casey Sr, <\/b>died Wednesday Jul 20 at local hospital from operation from which he<\/p>\n
never recovered.\u00a0 He was born in Barbour Co, Ala July 25, 1883 and was 76 yrs. He brought<\/p>\n
his family to DeFuniak in 1915.\u00a0 Survived by his wife, Mrs Madeline<\/b> Casey, 2 sons, M J <\/b><\/p>\n
& W L Jr<\/b>; 6 daughters; Mrs Myrtle Norton<\/b>, Mrs Ruth Lindsey<\/b>, Mrs Ruby Johns<\/b>, Mrs<\/p>\n
Claudia B Ward<\/b>; Mrs Wilke Durden<\/b>; Mrs Billie Brundage<\/b>; 2 brothers, E L & N L Casey<\/b>;<\/p>\n
and 26 grandchildren and 15 gr grands.<\/p>\n

Mrs Sarah<\/b> Anderson<\/b> Hobbs<\/b> 78, of Pleasant Grove, died Monday Jul 25.\u00a0 She was a native<\/p>\n
and lifelong resident of Walton Co.\u00a0 Services were held Wednesday Jul 27 at the Pleasant<\/p>\n
Grove Baptist with interment followed in the church cemetery.\u00a0 Survivors are her husband,<\/p>\n
J W HOBBS<\/b>, one son, Walton<\/b> Hobbs<\/b>, 2 daughters, Mrs Mary Wiggins<\/b> & Mrs Leo Kunkel<\/b>;<\/p>\n
2 brothers George<\/b> & Rev T J Anderson<\/b>; 4 sisters, Mrs L E Gill<\/b>, Mrs H H Hobbs<\/b>, Mrs<\/p>\n
Mollie Ray<\/b> & Mrs Lillie Grant<\/b>; 9 grandchildren & 3 gr grands.<\/p>\n

Clyde<\/b> F Campbell<\/b>, 50, died Friday July 22 in a Crestview hospital.\u00a0 He was a WWII veteran,<\/p>\n
and former county attorney for Okaloosa Co.\u00a0 Survivors include his wife, Mrs Louise<\/b> Simmons<\/b><\/p>\n
Campbell<\/b>, 3 sisters, Mrs J A Zorn<\/b>, Mrs J S Croft<\/b> & Mrs A B Champion<\/b>.\u00a0 Services were held<\/p>\n
Sunday at the Laurel Hill Presbyterian church, with interment held in Almarant Cemetery.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
John<\/b> H Messer<\/b>, 73 died Saturday Jul 23 in a local hospital.\u00a0 Mr Messer was a native of Newton,<\/p>\n
Ala and a resident in DeFuniak since 1939. Survivors are his wife, Mrs Mary<\/b> Messer<\/b>, 4 sons,<\/p>\n
Alton<\/b>, Bert<\/b>, T F<\/b> & Robert<\/b>; 4 daughters Mrs Esther Hoover<\/b>, Mrs Lessie Mae Flemming<\/b>, Mrs<\/p>\n
Trimi V Nobles<\/b> and Mrs Bonnie Bray<\/b>; 3 sisters, Mrs Quilla Bradshaw<\/b>, Mrs Mary Howard<\/b><\/p>\n
and Mrs Hattie Taylor<\/b>, 25 grandchildren & 4 gr grands.\u00a0 Services wer held Monday at<\/p>\n
Clear Springs church near Florala, Al with burial in Clear Springs cemetery.<\/p>\n
