Travis<\/b> Lee<\/b> Straughn<\/b>, 81, died at his home in Cantonment Saturday. Services were<\/p>\n
held Monday at Gum Creek Primative in Glendale.\u00a0 He was a native of Rose Hill, Ala.<\/p>\n
Private services were held at home of daughter Mrs Agnes<\/b> Richards<\/b> before the church<\/p>\n
services.\u00a0 Besides his daughter Mrs Richards, survivors are 3 sons; Roy<\/b> D, Carlos<\/b> M &<\/p>\n
Walter<\/b> L Straughn; 2 sisters Mrs C A Chesser<\/b> & Mrs Martha A Laird<\/b>; 12 grandchildren<\/p>\n
and 20 gr grands.<\/p>\n

Mrs Luray<\/b> Weeks<\/b>, 44, died Friday Aug 12.\u00a0 She was a native of Darlington, Fla and had<\/p>\n
lived in Gaskin for the past 10 yrs.\u00a0 Services were held at 3:00 from Leonia Baptist<\/p>\n
church, with interment following in the church cemetery.\u00a0 Mrs Weeks is survived by her<\/p>\n
husband, Mr B H Weeks<\/b>, one son James<\/b> Coy<\/b> Stafford<\/b>, 2 daughters Miss Merlene<\/b><\/p>\n
Stafford<\/b>, and Miss Elizabeth<\/b> Weeks<\/b>; 3 brothers M H, E & Corbin<\/b> Weeks; 2 sisters,<\/p>\n
Mrs Onvie McDuffie<\/b> and Mrs Amy Gilmore<\/b>.<\/p>\n
