Mrs Rosa<\/b> Lee<\/b> Gantt<\/b> Sterenberg<\/b>, 98, of Destin,\u00a0 died Oct 9 Sunday in a Gadsden Co.<\/p>\n
Hospital.\u00a0 Mrs Sterenberg was born in Lexington, S C in January 1862. She moved to<\/p>\n
Destin 5 yrs ago from Chipley but greater part of her life was spend in Ponce de Leon.<\/p>\n
Funeral services were held in Ponce de Leon Tuesday Oct 11, with interment in<\/p>\n
Magnolia cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Viola L Fulmer<\/b>; one son,<\/p>\n
May H Sterenberg<\/b>, 4 grandchildren & 10 gr grands.<\/p>\n

Infant baby Redmon<\/b>, baby daughter of Mrs & Mrs J W Redmon<\/b> of Leonia, died October<\/p>\n
9, in a local hospital. Graveside services were held Monday from the Leonia cemetery,<\/p>\n
with interment followed in Leonia cemetery.\u00a0 Survivors besides parents include the<\/p>\n
paternal grandparents, Mr & Mrs C M Redmon<\/b>, maternal grandfather Mr Eugene<\/p>\n
Martin<\/b>, and maternal grandmother, Mrs Edna Smith<\/b>.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Durward<\/b> Commander<\/b> 46, of Ponce de Leon, died Thursday Oct 6 in a Bonifay hospital.<\/p>\n
A native & lifelong resident of Holmes Co, he was a teacher in public schools for several<\/p>\n
years.\u00a0 Services were held Saturday from Northside Baptist church, with interment in<\/p>\n
the New Ponce de Leon cemetery.\u00a0\u00a0 Survivors include his parents, Mr & Mrs D Com<\/b>–<\/p>\n
mander<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Robert<\/b> Jackson<\/b> Kelly<\/b> 38, passed away in a Pensacola hospital, on Oct 4.\u00a0 A native of<\/p>\n
Birmingham, Ala and resident of DeFuniak for past 4 yrs, a veteran of WWII.\u00a0 Services<\/p>\n
were held Thursday from First Baptist Church, burial followed in Magnolia.\u00a0 Mr. Kelly<\/p>\n
is survived by his widow, Mrs Jean<\/b> C Kelly<\/b>, 2 daughters, Linda<\/b> & Sue<\/b>; his parents,<\/p>\n
Mr & Mrs A G Kelly<\/b>; 4 sisters, Mrs Henry Futch<\/b>, Mrs Frank McCoy<\/b>, Mrs Robert Glass<\/b>,<\/p>\n
& Mrs Winston Sacher<\/b>.<\/p>\n
