{"id":195,"date":"2009-12-15T19:24:02","date_gmt":"2009-12-16T01:24:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/waltoncountyheritage.org\/wp\/?p=195"},"modified":"2024-05-24T14:46:16","modified_gmt":"2024-05-24T19:46:16","slug":"the-breeze-august-25-1910-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/waltonpast2present.com\/wcgs\/2009\/12\/the-breeze-august-25-1910-3\/","title":{"rendered":"The Breeze &#8211; August 25, 1910 &#8211; Page 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A Sad Death<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of an accident which was published in THE BREEZE last week and which was not thought at the time to be of a serious nature resulted last Saturday in the death of Mrs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/memorial\/87222067\/sarah-e-gray\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/memorial\/87222067\/sarah-e-gray\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sallie <strong>Gray<\/strong><\/a>, who lives about two miles north of town. Mrs. Gray was well known in this section and she leaves a large number of children whom are all grown to mourn her loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funeral took place at her home last Sunday, the services being conducted by Rev. W. D. <strong>Turnley<\/strong>, who was pastor of the [Baptist] church in which she was a member.
