By the looks of it, spring is here.<\/li>\n<li>Mr. Leonard Bell\u00a0made a business trip to Florala last week.<\/li>\n<li>The debate at Liberty last Thursday night was fine and enjoyed by all.<\/li>\n<li>J.R.\u00a0Turner and daughter Miss\u00a0Vivian went to Mossy Head last Saturday.<\/li>\n<li>The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs.\u00a0Connie Jones\u00a0is quite ill.<\/li>\n<li>Mr. Tom\u00a0Price, who moved here from Waycross, Ga., some two weeks ago returned last week. They leave but they have to come back to Florala.<\/li>\n<li>Miss S.E.\u00a0Ray<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>spent Saturday and Sunday with home folks.<\/li>\n<li>Miss Ruth\u00a0Shelly<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>left Saturday for Bonifay to visit her sister. BHer friends were sorry to see her leave, especially some of the boys.<\/li>\n<li>Charlie Prater<b>\u00a0<\/b>and Jesse\u00a0Tompson\u00a0were at DeFuniak last Friday.<\/li>\n<li>Murie\u00a0Bell\u00a0and wife, from Glendale, were visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs.\u00a0J.R.\u00a0Turner, last Friday.<\/li>\n<li>Notwithstanding the rain last Friday night the debate at Gum Creek was fine and enjoyed by all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[Compiled by Emily Petroskey]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ealum The health of the community is generally good- only colds.
