{"id":263,"date":"2009-12-21T17:14:28","date_gmt":"2009-12-21T23:14:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/waltoncountyheritage.org\/wp\/?p=263"},"modified":"2024-05-28T15:45:56","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T20:45:56","slug":"the-breeze-november-10-1910-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/waltonpast2present.com\/wcgs\/2009\/12\/the-breeze-november-10-1910-3\/","title":{"rendered":"The Breeze &#8211; November 10, 1910 &#8211; Page 4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a somewhat lengthy illness Mr. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/memorial\/36622157\/edwin-ruthven-sprague\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/memorial\/36622157\/edwin-ruthven-sprague\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Edwin Ruthven] <strong>Sprague<\/strong><\/a>, one of DeFuniak&#8217;s best-known citizens, passed away to the great beyond. The body left here Tuesday evening for Broadhead, Wis., where the burial will take place Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. <strong>Sprague<\/strong> was a member of the Methodist church of this place and had lived to the ripe old age of 80 years. He lived a very quiet and simple life, and up to a very few months before his illness was as spry as any young man. He was a Northerner by birth and for a number of years he made this place his home.
