The many friends of Mrs. Green nee Minnie McCall will deeply sympathize with her in the loss of her baby by death last week. The little one was ill during her visit here, recently, and was thought to be improving when she went home.

Postmaster B. P. Edge, of Boggy, no we must not say Boggy any more as it is now Niceville, brought his family up Saturday to enjoy the day. He says that the reason for the change in the name was that the place had out grown the old one and one more euphonious was needed.

Ex-Governor Bloxham, Florida’s grand old man died in Tallahassee last week. No man in the state had more personal or political friends, and his loss will be sincerely mourned from Cape Canaveral to the Perdido.
