Marie Louise “Mickey” Wesley and Kenneth Robert “Bob” Swinford were married at the Wesley House (now part of Eden Gardens State Park in Point Washington) on December 19, 1938. In this photograph, the bride, wearing a dark top with a corsage, and her groom were flanked by her parents who owned the house, William Henry “W.H.” Wesley and Marie Strickland Wesley. The photograph is courtesy of James “Jim” Wesley, the son of Lucious “Billy” Wesley and Jewell Rachels Wesley. Jack Mattair, the adopted son of Royal Albert “Roy” Burlison and Mabel Wesley Burlison, provided the following identifications (left to right, from front):
Flower Girl: Caroline Marie “Carol” Wesley, daughter of Willie Wesley who was killed in a tragic automobile accident in 1936.

Third row: Rev. Charles Wesley and Jewell Wesley.
Fourth row: Billy Wesley, Jewell’s sister Sara, and Edgar Wesley, Sara’s husband and brother of Mickey.

The others in the photograph are unidentified except for Royce Burlison, the blonde girl near the porch post, who was the daughter of Mabel and Roy Burlison.
