Robert met Florence Griffin while she and her mother were visiting from New York and staying at the Hotel Chautauqua during a Chautauqua Assembly.
Robert McCaskill married Florence Griffin (1876-1975) in 1895, and they had four children. Pictured above are Evelyn (seated), Angeline (left) and Margaret. Their son Harold, held by the maid, died from injuries received in a car accident in 1944.
