Robert McCaskill\u2019s promotional booklet, \u201cThe Road to Health, Happiness <g class=\"gr_ gr_5 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"5\" data-gr-id=\"5\">and<\/g> Prosperity,\u201d interlaced facts and photographs with folksy prose designed to lure farmers and ranchers to Walton County. The booklet described some attributes of DeFuniak Springs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;DeFuniak Springs radiates that restful, cultured, friendly spirit so noticeable in most college towns. . . . Modern roads make travel easy, and modern vehicles find country and city very closely together.
