No follow-up articles have been found, so the fates of the child and his kidnapper remain mysteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/memorial\/33327770\/hugh-a.-douglass\" target=\"_blank\">Hugh A.
