  • BH Sutton left Friday for Crestville and Laurel Hill
  • Dr. Strong of Freeport was here to see Mrs. Edge, Thursday night
  • Mrs. BP Edge has been ill for the past few days but is improving
  • Mrs GW Allen is visiting her cousin Ms. (sic) JM Jordan at Garnier’s this week.
  • WF Hill of Garniers spent a few days at the Rocky Ranger Station
  • Mrs. JL Heath has been very ill for the past few days but is improving
  • M/M RE Nathy (sic) have daughter, born Sunday June 16
  • JH Tison returned Tuesday on the Launch Viola from visit to home folks in Savannah
  • DP McKenzie, BP Edge, JS McKinney went to DeFuniak on business, Sunday, Mr. Edge returned on Monday

  • Mrs. PV Lindsey is still very sick
  • RL McLendon & family spent the day here Sunday
  • Cassy Davis of DeFuniak was at the sing here Sunday night
  • John & Campbel Morison of Arcadia, were here Saturday night
  • Miss Sarah Ann Casewell is visiting her sister Mrs. Davis at Freeport this week
  • M/M Herman Bludworth visited at Argyle Saturday night and Sunday
  • M/M Albert Lindsey , children and Frank Buihannan (sic) of DeFuniak spent Sundy here

  • Miss Mary Gomillion has recently returned from a visit to relatives at Caryville
  • Rev. Peacock has postponed prayer meetings for a few weeks
  • MK Rushing purchased a site in Ponce deLeon from GB Smith on which to put a swa mill
  • Granpa & Granma Reeves of Hartford accompanied by Miss Howell, visited their sons Bascom & Leon here, last week
  • Alex May’s son of Douglas’ Cross Roads regularly bring corn to be milled here
  • Douglas’ Cross Roads – picnic to be held July 3 (southwest of Ponce de Leon, near home of Angus Douglass)
