Marshall James Lightfoot, age 57, died Monday May 10th at his residence in DeF where he resident for past 27 yrs.  He was a registered pharmacist and owner of the Lightfoot Drug store and Lightfoot Hotel.  Services held Thursday with interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Mrs Isabell Lightfoot, one son, Marshall J Lightfoot Jr, 3 dau Mrs Ramona Fontaine, Mrs Leona Rancourt, and Mrs Betty L Ritzman; 2 bros Ancel & Ira Lightfoot; 2 sis Mrs Zella Herring & Miss Ophra Lightfoot; 9 gr also survive. Mrs Mary Agnes Markus, 77, died Sunday May 9th in a Pensacola Hospital.  She was a native of Kansas City, Mo and resident of DeF. Survivors include her widower, R D Markus, 2 sons William B & Donald J Markus.  Services held Wednesday with interment in Magnolia.

Mrs Mable Frances Yon, 53, died Monday May 10th in Gadsden Co hospital. Survivors include her widower Mr John A Yon, one dau, Mrs Gloria Ruth Rethmeyer, 3 sons, Johnny Jr, Philip Ray & Joseph Wayne Yon; 2 sis Mrs Elanor Demers and Mrs Minnie Hummel; 6  bros Lee, Willie, David, Collon Woodrow & Clifton Brannon.
