Mr C R Walden, ‘Grandpa Walden’ as he was known was accidentally killed near Enterprise, Ala yesterday evening. He was in a buggy going to Enterprise to visit his daughter in law, Mrs J C Walden Sr, when the horse became frightened and ran away throwing Mr Walden from the buggy and fracturing his skull. . . . The late J C Walden Sr was his son.

Mr W A McCallum of this city, who was injured several months ago by the accidental overturning of a railroad motor car, died at the sanitarium yesterday. Funeral we be held at Euchee Valley church today.
Memorial: Mrs Lizzie Edwards was joined in holy matrimony with Lawrence Edwards. She died of malaria and was ill for several months. She was a Christian worker. (long poem)
