J. H. Rumback, father of the unfortunate young man who died here last Tuesday, arrived here Friday from his home in Oklahoma and Sunday morning started on his sorrowful journey home with the body of his son. A service was held Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Rumback stated that the boy left home with another youth about the latter part of September, taking about $40 for which he had sold a horse. He had written home 3 times but only a card stating where he was. The last one said unless he soon found work he would come home. This was dated at River Junction and he was evidently starting home when he came here.
